| 1. | Lutz Däumig (25-01-2012 19:31:32) In autumn 1987 I flew with NFD D-CABB, operating for Lufthansa, from Dusseldorf to Hanover. A very pleasant and smooth flight.
On February 8, 1988 early in the morning the plane crashed near Essen-Kettwig during a thunderstorm. The plane was hit by a lightning and due to the failure of instruments the pilots lost orentation during ILS approach to DUS. No survivors.
