VH-LFP 2nd landing point on my CPL flight test, which im proud to say i passed. Colac was also the 2nd landing point on my PPL flight test back in Oscar, the green machine. [EOS 350D + EF 17-40L] (more of VH-LFP)
VH-LFP On approach to 27 at Guildford. Its almost 1000m long so theres plenty of room, but the challenge lies in the approach over a valley with a nice rise up to and at the threshold and a thin gravel strip that appears thinner than the width of your aircraft's mains! [EOS 350D + EF 17-40L] (more of VH-LFP)
VH-LFP Short final into Rwy18 at Mildura. Great place to fly into, easy to find, plenty of length, parking and fuel is easy... Oh and you might have some Dash 8's, Saab 340's and Jetsream 32's to contend with! [EOS 350D + EF 17-40L] (more of VH-LFP)
VH-LFP Parked in Mildura for the night. Unfortunately last light was going to beat me back to Moorabbin, and not being current to fly passengers under NVFR, I had to call it quits here. [EOS 350D + EF 17-40L] (more of VH-LFP)
VH-LFP Out the front of the Leigh Creek terminal after filling up then moving forward to allow a 182 that arrived after me to take some fuel. [EOS 350D + EF 17-40L] (more of VH-LFP)
VH-LFP Departing Coober Pedy, I took a bit of a scenic lap around the town. In the bottom right corner you have the golf course and race track which are basically surrounded by opal mine sites. You can also see that in the small hills around the place that houses are actually dug into the ground- much cooler in summer! [EOS 350D + EF 17-40L] (more of VH-LFP)
VH-LFP Getting out of Broken Hill. The cloud lifted enough and started to break up. It was almost cloud free for as far as the eye could see only half an hour to the west! [EOS 350D + EF 17-40L] (more of VH-LFP)
VH-LFP Short final to Rwy22 at Broken Hill, theres a nice view of a big mine site when on base aswell. Coming in from the south, I held overhead the airport while a REX Saab 340 backtracked the runway and then departed. [EOS 350D + EF 17-40L] (more of VH-LFP)
VH-LFP c/n 28R-7135040. In Leigh Creek to take on some fuel. The 182 came in about 10 minutes after us to do the same, and was heading off to Coober Pedy, where I had just come from! [EOS 350D + EF 17-40L] (more of VH-LFP)
VH-LFP c/n 28R-7135040. Short final to Coober Pedy. Could you imagine bringing a Metro (soon to be Saab) into here? [EOS 350D + EF 17-40L] (more of VH-LFP)
VH-LFP c/n 28R-7135040. A few stars can be seen in the pitch black night. It was also a little bit breezy too but the windsock doesnt show much movement. [EOS 350D + EF 17-40L] (more of VH-LFP)
VH-LFP c/n 28R-7135040. I couldn't help myself, had to come back and take some night shots with parts of the plane lit up. [EOS 350D + EF 17-40L] (more of VH-LFP)
VH-LFP c/n 28R-7135040. Enjoying late afternoon sunshine and a well deserved rest. Certainly was a challenge for myself to get here, great fun and experience too. [EOS 350D + EF 17-40L] (more of VH-LFP)
VH-LFP c/n 28R-7135040. Parked and tied down for the night after a 4-hr flight from Moorabbin which saw me above fog, above cloud, between cloud but fortunately (as im only VFR) not IN cloud! [EOS 350D + EF 17-40L] (more of VH-LFP)
VH-LFP c/n 28R-7135040. Ready for the flight home. Theres a C182 and 152 in the background, along with a Saratoga, Challenger and a C180 that is hidden. [EOS 350D + EF 17-40L] (more of VH-LFP)
VH-LFP c/n 28R-7135040. Short final runway 23 at Temora, just compensating a little bit to hold the centreline. [EOS 350D + EF 17-40L] (more of VH-LFP)
