IE1208 A visit to La Martiniere College at Lucknow on a winter evening shows this Sabre Killer, which was installed by the IAF in 2015. It is to honour La Martinieres brave alumni that include brothers Denzil (9 Sqn.) and Trevor Keelor (23 Sqn.) and Alfred Cooke (14 Sqn.) who shot down a PAF Sabre apiece during the Indo-Pak War of 1965. All were awarded the Vir Chakra. The crest of No. 9 Sqn. Wolfpack is under the Gnat cockpit. (more of IE1208)

V642 Bird of metal at Lucknow Zoo. Rajhans is one of two Tu-124K survivors. The other aircraft, Rajdoot is at IAF Museum Palam. The third aircraft, Pushpaka was lost with the cockpit crew in a landing accident at Jorhat on 4 Nov. 1977 that had the PM on board. The Tu-124K served with Air HQ Communication Sqn. from 1966-84. One could see them operate frequently at Palam. (more of V642)
