JA8039 "Tukuba" makes a smokey touchdown at Itami after an other flight from Taiwan. In the early 80s JAA operated a small fleet of DC-8-50/61 and DC-10-40. JA8039 was leased in 1986/87 to CTA-Canafrica Transportes Aereos, registered as EC-DZA and finally this DC-8 was converted to a freighter and flown by Airborne Express as N848AX until retirement in 2007.
