XX901 c/n B3-06-75, she is preserved by the Yorkshire Air Museum In her 1991 Gulf War 12 Squadron markings having flown 14 operational missions and had destroyed a taxiing Iraqi transport aircraft ( a captured Kuwait AF C130 KAF322), with a laser guided bomb. R6690 The Yorkshire Museum Gate Guard represents a 609 (West Riding) Squadron, Royal Auxiliary Air Force Spitfire, flown by their CO, Sqn Ldr Darley. The original R6690 was shot down over South London on Sept15.1940, and the pilot, P/O Daunt was killed. (more of R6690)

P3873 Is Gate Guard for the Yorkshire Air Museum, and is painted as YO:H of 1 Sq RCAF, the proper P3873 was shot down over Canterbury (UK) on Oct 05, 1940, with the pilot F/o Molson (RCAF) baling out. He survived the war and is now patron of the museum. (more of P3873)
