D-EWHY c/n 96322. ex DDR-WHY. First pic at ppnet.....The ´mighty ´star shaped 9 cyl. piston engine (by Alexander Ivshenko design bureau) AI 14RA. Typical for the Wilga a/c also the "high heel" main landing gear. Note also the EADS/PZL prop...a new aviation joint venture? (more of D-EWHY)

D-EWHY c/n 96322. First pic at ppnet.....The markings on the l/h main gear are very helpful for the judges during precision flight competition landings (also for training). The wheel must touch the ground in a small area of the runway. Below the tail you kann see the rope for glider towing. (more of D-EWHY)

D-EWHY c/n 96322. Very nice Wilga plane owned by the Aeroklub of Hoyerswerda. I have never seen a Wilga in better conditions (better like new). Note: The HY in the a/c registration is also the city code for cars in Hoyerswerda city. (more of D-EWHY)
