XS235 A sad situation at Bruntingthorpe where the airfield is now used for car storage and the live aircraft that are capable of being taxied are now stored in a small corner of the airfield surrounded by containers. Also seen here is the Victor XM715 and the Nimrod XV229 (more of XS235)
XK699 This is the ex gate guardian aircraft from RAF Lyneham. When it closed the aircraft was broken up and the forward fuselage is now displayed wit the Boscombe Down Aviation Collection at Old Sarum and has recently been repainted (more of XK699)
G-CPDA Wears serial XS235. This was the last ever Comet to fly and arrived here by air from Boscombe Down on 31st October 1997 and is still maintained in live taxying condition (more of G-CPDA)
XK695 Originally displayed as a complete aircraft at Duxford until it was broken up and the nose section transported by road to the De Havilland Museum where it's restoration continues. (more of XK695)
F-BGNX The interior has also been restored and is now open for public viewing. One half of the cabin shows the seating arrangement and the other half shows the bare shell and insulation. This is the only surviving Comet 1 with the square windows remaining. (more of F-BGNX)
F-BGNX De Havilland Museum. Arrived by road from Farnborough in 1985 and has been restored and repainted. Rather than paint the lower half silver it has been wrapped in a silver vinyl material which should see it last for many years to come. (more of F-BGNX)
G-BDIW in a dismantled state before her departure to the new home at the Hermeskeil Aviation Museum near Trier, where she was preserved first in the same colours and later repainted again in Dan Air London´s 1990 colour scheme, (more of G-BDIW)
