Assigned to HMX-1 based at USMB Quantico.HMX-1 provides all helicopter transportation for the President both overseas and within the continental United States. This "Marine One" is awaiting President Richard M. Nixon who just landed at CGN when he visited Germany in 1969. At that time the security measures were very poor so I had no problems to photograph Nixon's heli from a very close distance.
